Another year has gone by, and we have plenty of reasons to be grateful for all the achievements we had in 2024!
All these successes were possible thanks to the efforts made by our partners and collaborators: issuers, investors, brokers, the Romanian state, capital market organizations, journalists and, of course, the Bucharest Stock Exchange team. Thus, on the occasion of the 12th edition, the Bucharest Stock Exchange brings to the BVB Awards stage, the stakeholders who stood out for the outstanding results obtained in the previous year, on the capital market.
One remarkable fact is that the stock market became way more attractive for investors, with a historical record number of transactions of 2.6 million, +30% compared to 2023. These numbers prove that people are more and more interested in investing in the domestic stock market, and we are confident that, together with all our partners, we will increase these numbers even further. More 2024 highlights:
- RON 363 billion total capitalization of listed companies, + 17.6% compared to 2023
- RON 242 billion capitalization of Romanian listed companies, + 5% compared to 2023
- 214,895 investors on the stock exchange at the end of September
- RON 16.4 billion record value attracted through FIDELIS financing rounds
